This day is solely for the purpose of raising charity funds to help with the rehab of seriously injured ex-military.
Golf is a way to help with many types of injury whether visually seen or in their mental state, it gives them a way to concentrate on other issues and not their health and this is in the game of golf.
The day will consist of arrival to sign in, purchase raffle tickets, bacon rolls and tea or coffee.
18 holes of competitive golf, its an AMAM two best scores, ladies playing of the red tees and gentleman off the yellow tees, 85% course handicap.
There is a halfway hut with lots of cakes, drinks and savouries. Please note that these ex-service guys will be playing and will integrate into teams joining the members.
Ladies/gents nearest the pins and longest drives.
Beat the Pro (Marley) on the 17th hole £10 per team and if only 1 player beats the Pro the team will go into a draw to win a 4 ball golf voucher.
After golf there will be a putting competition £2 per player and the winner gets a prize.
We will sit for a 2 course meal with tea/coffee afterwards.
